Ann was born in England. She was convicted of a crime and transporte d from Woolwich to Tasmania on the s hip "Tory" in 1845. She marr ied George on 27th November 1848 in Hobart, Tasmania when she was 3 2 . Apparently she was a spinster. (Convict permission to marry wa s given in Oc tober) She died from inflamation of the chest in Apri l 1860 aged 42. Her birth year is therefore estimated as 1816 - 1818.
